Many RHYC members like to head to the San Juan Islands a day early for the Colors Cruise, and over the years we’ve noticed many of you anchoring out in beautiful Westcott Bay and Garrison Bay.

So this year… let’s add a little pre-fun. ??

* Anchor out in Westcott Bay
* Meet up around 5:00 PM
* Coordinate location on Channel 68

This is a completely no-host, organic gathering — which basically means nobody officially stepped up to organize it, so the fun depends on all of us making it happen together. 

* BYOB
* Optional appetizers to share
* Dinghy-to-dinghy mingling encouraged
* Bring your Strait-crossing stories and get ready for the fun that begins at Roche Harbor on Friday!

And please… somebody be brave enough to start the conversation on Channel 68. 

No worries! Dinghy over and join the fun in Westcott Bay — you’ll still make it back in plenty of time for Colors.

* Westcott Bay Shellfish Co. also has a restaurant nearby if you’d like to explore the area a bit more.
