Howdy Partners!
Welcome to Poulsbo Western weekend. Get the dust off (or not!) your old cowboy boots and hats and come have a great time in the old west. Decorate your boat with this theme in mind, lights, ropes and cowbells all work! You could win a prize for best decorated boat and best costume.
Friday evening we will have a happy hour potluck on the dock so please bring an appetizer to share. We are going green so please bring your own plates, tableware and glasses for Friday night and breakfasts. You can kick up the dust with fellow members on the dock and later you can explore the many watering holes that Poulsbo has to offer.
Saturday morning breakfast will be served at 9-10:30 am. Any time on Saturday you can begin then poker run... instructions will be in your welcome pack.
2 PM will be our annual business meeting at the Sons of Norway.
In the afternoon from 4-5:30, we will have a boat to boat happy hour. We are looking for volunteer boats to host this. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow members and blaze new trails. If you would like to be a host boat, you can sign up on the website when you register for the event. Please contact me, Leslie at fleetcaptain@rhyc.org with any questions and what you plan to serve.
We will be having a catered dinner at 6 PM at the Sons of Norway. Enjoy some finger licking good brisket, pulled pork and campfire baked beans.
After dinner we will have a bonfire, s'mores as well as our traditional Roche Harbor Yacht Club Colors ceremony.
Sunday morning from 8-10 AM we will be serving Sluys bakery famous donuts and coffee
