We moved the cruise from Brownsville to Port Orchard. The moorage rate at Port Orchard is $1 per foot, half of the $2 per foot Brownsville charges!

A great way to meet new people is with our boat hop. Here is how it works:
The boat hop is divided into three hops or sessions. Each hop lasts exactly 30 minutes and no longer. There will be a 10 minute break between sessions. Once during the three sessions you will be asked to provide appetizers or lunch bites for the guests on your boat. The hops will start at 1:15, 1:55, and 2:35. A bell will be rung so you know when to go back and refresh your drink or prepare to be a host boat. You will be given a schedule made just for you so you know where to go for each session.
Your schedule might look like this:
Group Name: Shadowfax (Andrew and Jennifer Guyler)
Session 1: Go to Miner's Debt
Session 2: Host lunch bites on your boat
Session 3: Go to Cassiopeia
If you plan on participating you must agree to host one session, that’s the only way it works. Most likely you will only have 2 people from 2 other boats (4 total guests) for your host session. This should work for both the large and small boats. If you have guests on your boat so you have more than three we have a number of options on how this works. This is a great way to meet lots of fellow RHYCers.
**We are still trying to work out a good solution for chairs, ideally we can avoid renting chairs. Unfortunately bringing deck chairs to the pavilion last June resulted in overcrowding--they just take up a lot more space than standard home folding chairs or the rental kind. We are asking everyone to confirm how many chairs they can bring that are no bigger than a standard home type folding chair (either the "samsonite" kind--easy to google samsonite folding chair if you don't know it, the ones people tend to have at home with the padded bottom on a metal frame from Costco or Staples, or even the small wedding style chairs--any of those or similar size will work--the chairs that fold into a skinny bag for camping and any of the marine type of folding deck chairs are too large--no chairs with arms please). If anyone has access to a large quantity of folding chairs please reach out and let us know as that may be easiest.
