RHYC 2024 Opening Day Cruise
No-cost cruise!
May 1st thru May 5th
Mountlake Cut
Wednesday - 12:30 - Anchoring up on the south side of the Cut- Call RHYC on VHF 68, if 68 is busy we will establish contact on 68 and switch to 9.
Captains - Bring A stern anchor with approximately 200 feet of line and 200+ feet of line for the bow to tie off of the shore and back to your boat. Experienced members will be on hand to assist and to take your lines/stern anchor out by dinghy.
Thursday - On your own to explore, relax, or dust off the helm
Friday - Events @ SYC, Dingy cruise to Fisherman's, shopping or dinghy to the stadium for:
Saturday - Crew races and Boat Parade
Note: Cut closes at 9:30 am to all boat traffic so get friends and family on board early!
Departure - On your schedule after the cut is back open on Saturday--Many people will stay until Sunday morning--departure day/time is your choice.
Please make sure the crews on each side of you are aware of your anticipated departure time.
Remember provisions for your crew, family, and friends, or enjoy what Seattle has to offer.
There is also a QFC and a small store within walking distance.
